Power
You can use Grid Connect's range of smart plugs to switch on and off any applicance. Automate daily tasks, power down connected appliances at night, avoid energy wastage. On a holiday? For peace of mind, have your lights come on to create the illusion that someone is home. Use Grid Connect smart plugs to control plugged in light fixtures. As long as the appliance switches on and off at the plug, Grid Connect smart plugs can switch them. When choosing what appliance to plug into a Grid Connect smart plug, always check max power allowed by the plug.
The Grid Connect range includes a smart universal remote, which can be used to control any infrared device, such as those with a standard remote. This includes split system air conditioners, TV's and stereo equipment. The smart universal remote can replicate the signal sent to your air conditioner by its manufacturer-supplied remote, and in turn be controlled via the Grid Connect app. This means you can turn your air conditioner on or off, adjust modes or set the temperatue right from your phone, anywhere in the world. Since the Grid Connect smart universal remote is only replicating codes sent from the standard air conditioner remote, the smart universal remote will only be able to provide that same level of function only.
Additionally, the Antsig Grid Connect Smart IR Universal Remote Controller makes it easy to bring existing infrared-controlled devices into your smart home setup without replacing them. Compatible with a wide range of TVs, air conditioners, audio systems and other IR-controlled appliances, it allows you to centralise control through the Grid Connect app, create schedules and automations, and even use voice assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for hands-free operation.
