Grid Connect Matter Product Pairing and Setup
We’ve designed setup to be as simple as possible, whether you’re new to smart home or already using another platform.
2 simple steps:
Pair with the Grid Connect App
For the best experience, we recommend pairing your Grid Connect Matter product with the Grid Connect app first.
*Some third-party Matter platforms may require a compatible Matter controller, gateway or hub.
Easy automatic discovery
The Grid Connect App can automatically detect Grid Connect Matter products that are in pairing mode, making pairing much simpler.

Tap '+' to add device
Located in the bottom right corner
Place the product into pairing mode
Follow the product's provided pairing instructions
Select the product shown
The product should be discovered automatically and appear at the top of the 'Add Device' page
Follow remaining prompts
Tap the device icon and follow the prompts to complete setup
*If automatic discovery is unavailable, you can pair the product by scanning its Matter QR code or by entering the 11-digit Matter Setup Code.
