The lock necessitates a 54mm diameter cut-out with a backset of 60/70mm from the door edge, and the door thickness should fall within the range of 35-50mm. Specifically tailored for indoor use, this product is suitable for DIY installation on doors already equipped with the necessary cut-out. However, it is not intended for DIY replacement of mortise or rim locks; professional installation is advised, particularly for new doors.
