Trigger multiple actions to occur at once with just a single tap.
Scenes make it easy to control multiple Grid Connect devices together. A Scene can include as many actions as you like, and each device can perform a different action.
For example, you could create an Away Scene that:
- turns off all indoor lights;
- starts your robot vacuum; and
- turns on motion alerts for your security cameras.
Or create a Home Scene that:
- turns on selected light;
- adjusts other connected devices; and
- sets an indoor camera to Privacy Mode.
Once created, Scenes can be accessed from the Grid Connect app Home page for quick control. Depending on your device and setup, they can also be accessed through your phone’s system widgets, compatible wearables such as Apple Watch, or triggered using supported third-party voice assistants such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
To create a scene
- Tap the ‘+’ button and select Create Scene.
- Tap Trigger Scene.
- Tap Add Action and choose the actions you want to occur when the scene is activated.
- Add additional actions as required. Different devices can perform different actions within the same Scene.
- Create a name to identify your Scene. This name can also be used when activating the Scene through supported voice control.
- Tap Save to finish your scene.
